Cost:

Our club membership is FREE.

Piney Grove will furnish books, bags, vests and tees so kids are able to come, learn and worship God.

Time and location:

September 2023-April 2024

Wednesday Nights: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm – Check-in begins at 5:45, along with our Awana meal.

What to bring to each meeting:
  • Bible
  • AWANA Handbook (provided by the church)
  • Uniform Vest or shirt (provided by the church).
Club Rules:
  • 5 Count: We raise our hand and begin counting to 5. By the time we get to 3 you should be very still, quit, and listening for instructions
  • 3 Count: This is a discipline rule.
  1. Warning
  2. Clubber will be taken to the Commander for instruction.
  3. Parent will be called and child may be asked to leave the club.
AWANA Bucks:

Your child will earn AWANA Bucks for attendance, participation, wearing their uniform, doing a good deed, completing sections in their Handbook and saying their verses from memory. They will have an opportunity to spend their money in our AWANA Store each night or often as they accumulate AWANA Bucks. Our store will consist of candy, snacks, and trinket toy items.

Derby Race:

We have a Derby Car Race and students participate by decorating their cars and racing them during this, last event of the year. The race will be held on the AWANA Awards night, right after the award’s ceremony.

Website and Photography Permission:

We often take pictures during club time which may be posted on our website or Facebook. We will not post any pictures of your child without your permission.

Transportation

My child will need transportation and I give permission for my child to ride the church van to and from AWANA’s on Wednesday evenings. (by typing your name below you give permission for your child to ride the Piney Grove Baptist Church van to and from AWANA's on Wednesday evenings.)

Emergency Information

In case of emergency, we will do our best to make contact with the emergency contact listed. However, if that contact cannot be reached, please sign below to give your permission to contact the child’s doctor below on the child’s behalf.
